When the transfer window swings into action, Chelsea are almost always front and centre, making moves and doing deals to bolster, trim down or improve their squad.
That is no different this summer, with the window only being open for a little over 48 hours and Chelsea already claimed to be making some huge moves to take their Champions League winning squad to the next level.
Erling Haaland and Achraf Hakimi are the two big names that are being linked with switches to west London this summer.
Chelsea are believed to have contacted parties concerning Haaland to get the ball rolling but could be prepared to wait until next summer when the Norwegian hitman will be available for half the price.
Moroccan defender Hakimi is reportedly the subject of a £50.1million bid from the Blues, matching that of Paris St Germain, who are also keen on the right back.
Football.London understands the Blues have yet to make a bid however and are remaining tight-lipped on their pursuit of the Inter Milan defender.
Thomas Tuchel is expected to be given funds from Roman Abramovich to bolster his squad but it’s fair to say that wholesale changers are not needed, especially after what Tuchel has managed to achieve in such a short space of time.
Taking over from Frank Lampard with the team in ninth, the German lifted the Blues into the top four and took them on a memorable knock out run in the Champions League to glory,
with Lampard laying the groundwork by getting Chelsea out of the group stage.
